Every single coffee grain exported by Café de Eleta comes from our Arabica trees and is the result of a long and careful selection process.
We have the privilege of enjoying the same the growing conditions of the most recognized coffee fields in Central America. Our farm is just 1 kilometer away from the border between Panama and Costa Rica.
We grow our coffee at an altitude of 1,300 to 1,700 meters above sea level.

Our Quality is GuaranteedThe indigenous Ngöbe Buglé people, who possess a traditional knowledge of proper coffee ripening procedures, hand-pick each berry that is harvested in our farm. During processing, the berries are separated and classified according to density. We follow a tradition of drying our coffee under the sun. That way, the parchment humidity levels go from 60 degrees to 11.50 degrees. |
|
Before exporting our coffee, we store it for 60 to 90 days in wooden silos or jute bags under strictly controlled temperature, humidity and light conditions. That gives our coffee its characteristic and homogeneous turquoise-green color, similar to that of the best Central American coffees. Our green beans are classified and selected both automatically and manually to ensure the correct size, weight, color and shape of every export coffee bean. |

Complete Monitoring
We record the harvesting, processing, drying and storage of every exported bag of coffee. Our laboratory ensures the constant and consistent quality of our product before it is shipped. We know the exact plot of land in which our bags—reaching customers in Europe, Japan and the United States—were grown. Therefore, when we talk about availability, we are also referring to our commitment to the quality of our coffee.
